The BCA Course aims at inculcating essential skills as demanded by the global software industry through interactive learning process. This also includes team-building skills, audio- visual presentations and personality development programmes. REGULATIONS FOR BCA COURSE:-
DURATION:- The Bachelor of Computer Applications or BCA degree course shall cover a period of three academic years with each year consisting of 2 semesters. Each semester will cover a duration of six months.
ELIGIBILITY: – A girl student may be admitted to the BCA course if she has passed the Intermediate examination (I.Sc./I.Com/10+2) from a recognized Board/University with an aggregate of 45% marks and Mathematics as a subject.

EXAMINATION:-
A) DURATION: The examination of each paper shall be of 3 hours duration and that of practical papers shall be of 6 hours duration.
B) STUDENT ASSESSMENT AND PROGRESSION: The performance of a student shall be evaluated on 30:70 basis i.e. 30 marks for internal assessment and 70 marks for end semester examination.
C) PASS MARKS: A student shall have to secure a minimum of 45% marks in the internal assessment and 45% marks in End-Semester examinations in theory papers. However, in a given practical paper, a student shall have to secure a minimum of 45% marks to be considered pass in a given semester.
