Mahila College Chaibasa was set up on the second of October 1969. It is the main female organization in the West Singhbhum District in Jharkhand state.
Apart from providing regular courses, Mahila College Chaibasa is also known as a study centre of IGNOU, which comes under the Ranchi regional center, and as a study centre of IGNOU Mahila College, Chaibasa provides services for Bachelor, Master Certificate Diploma and PG diploma programme.
